Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is looking for a Diesel Fitter in the Nairn/Inverness area. The role covers a split shift between the company workshop and customer sites, with a 39-hour week and local travel. The advertised rate is £16.93 per hour, equating to about £34,334 per annum.

You will dismantle, diagnose and fit on Diesel Pumps and Engines, undertake workshop repairs, and attend site visits and callouts as required. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in Diesel Fitting on Pumps or Engines.
• Ability to strip, repair and fit mechanical components.
• Diesel fitter experience in marine sector is a bonus.
• Based within commutable distance of Nairn, Inverness.
• Full Driving licence is non-negotiable.

• Previous experience as a diesel fitter for the marine sector would be a bonus.
• Based within a commutable distance of Nairn, Inverness.
• Full Driving licence - Non negotiable.

Salary & Benefits

• £16.93 per hour (£34,334 per annum)
• Full time, 39 hour week.
• Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30; Friday 8:00 - 15:30.
• Overtime available.
