Jago Consultants seeks an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a franchised dealership in Portslade. You’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs and liaise with brand technical teams to escalate issues, while ensuring excellent customer service from first contact to handover.

A full training programme supports your development to the highest standards. Salary around £35,000 with OTE £40,000+, 8:00–17:00, Mon–Fri, 1-in-4 Saturdays, 22 days holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be trained to at least Diagnostic / Senior level with a car brand.
• Excellent fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Focused on continued development by adapting and learning as needed.
• Health and safety conscious.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose complex faults, perform fault finding and repair of vehicles.

Are you an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician? Are you trained to City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification?

We are currently working with a franchised dealership who are seeking to recruit an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their current team.

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for the complex diagnosis, fault-finding and repair of Vehicles. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring technical bulletins, and liaising with the brands technical team to escalation vehicles faults as part of your role. Of course, you’ll also play your part in ensuring customers receive great service, from start to finish.

A full training programme will be designed for the successful applicant, to ensure you can work to the highest standards and ultimately progress your career.

Vehicle Technician – Requirements

• You MUST be trained to at least Diagnostic / Senior level with a car brand to be considered for this role
• Excellent fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving licence
• Possess excellent communication skills

Basic salary depending on experience but in the region of £35,000 OTE £40,000 ++

22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Hours

Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00PM

Saturday mornings 8:00-5:00 1-in-4 rota
