Job summary

Circle Health Group in Middlesex is recruiting a Radiographer for the Syon Clinic. This full-time position covers 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern. The role supports a busy imaging department and involves a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures.

The successful candidate will hold a BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography, HCPC registration and experience in general radiography. Postgraduate CT/MRI training is desirable and a patient-centred approach is essential.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
• HCPC registration as Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
• Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Postgraduate training in CT/MRI/theatre imaging desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures following referral and imaging protocols.
• Ensure high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis and minimise repeats.
• Adapt techniques for paediatrics, bariatrics and limited mobility patients.
• Provide a safe, dignified, and person-centred service throughout examinations.
• Monitor patients’ conditions during procedures and respond to deterioration.
• Ensure equipment is checked, maintained and used safely; report faults.
• Assist in new imaging technologies, PACS, RIS implementation and use.
• Collaborate with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters and admin teams to coordinate care.
