Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Radiographer at Syon Clinic in Middlesex. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible shift pattern. You will perform a broad range of radiographic procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, and support patient-centred care across imaging services.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography with HCPC registration and experience in general radiography, modern imaging techniques, and digital systems like PACS/RIS.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
• Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures following referral and imaging protocols.
• Ensure high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis while minimising repeats.
• Adapt techniques to patient needs including paediatrics, bariatrics, and limited mobility.
• Provide a safe, dignified, and patient-centred service; keep patients informed and reassured.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any deterioration.
• Ensure equipment is checked, maintained and used safely; report faults promptly.
• Assist implementation of new imaging technologies and digital systems (PACS, RIS).
• Work with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters, and admin teams to coordinate care.

We have an opportunity for a Radiographer to join their team of staff in the Imaging department.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures (e.g., general X-rays, theatre, fluoroscopy, mobiles) following referral and imaging protocols.
• Ensure high-quality images are produced to support accurate diagnosis, minimising the need for repeat exposures.
• Adapt techniques to meet the needs of individual patients, including paediatrics, bariatrics, and patients with limited mobility
• Provide a safe, dignified, and person-centred service, ensuring patients are informed, comfortable, and reassured throughout their examination.
• Monitor patients’ conditions during procedures and respond appropriately to any signs of deterioration.
• Ensure equipment is checked, maintained, and used safely and effectively, reporting faults promptly.
• Assist in the implementation and use of new imaging technologies, techniques, and digital systems (e.g., PACS, RIS).
• Work closely with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters, and admin teams to coordinate care efficiently and maintain smooth patient pathways.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
• Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Postgraduate experience or additional training in a specialist area (e.g., CT, MRI, theatre imaging, mammography) desirable.
