North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a radiographer for a 37.5-hour post in the radiology department spanning West Cumbria, including theatres, dental, fluoroscopy and CT. You will justify, authorise and perform radiographic examinations from GP and dentist referrals, and mentor students and junior staff.

The post offers 24/7 department cover, a supportive learning environment, and opportunities for professional development within the NHS.

Qualifications

• Degree in radiography or equivalent.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience in plain film, fluoroscopy and emergency radiography.

Responsabilités

• Provide general radiography across West Cumbria, including theatres, dental, fluoroscopy and CT.
• Justify, authorise and perform radiographic examinations independently, from referrals including GPs and dentists.
• Provide 24/7 department cover.
• Mentor student radiographers, assistant practitioners and newly qualified radiographers.
• Undertake quality assurance as required.
