Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC) is recruiting a Diagnostic Radiographer Band 5 to cover 37.5 hours per week at Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. The role involves 24/7 radiology services, including theatre, fluoroscopy, angiography and CT, with on-call duties.

You must hold a BSc Hons Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent and be HCPC registered. The post includes on-call shifts, support for student radiographers, and opportunities within a Trust delivering 24/7 care.

Qualifications

• Must have BSc Hons Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent and HCPC registration.
• Provide radiology service across North Cumbria including general radiography, theatres, dental, fluoroscopy, angiography and CT.
• Justify and perform radiographic examinations from multiple referral pathways including general and dental practitioners.
• Provide 24/7 department cover including on-call for emergency and in-patient examinations.
• Mentor student radiographers, Assistant Practitioners and newly qualified radiographers.
