Qualifications

• DGSA certification with knowledge of dangerous goods transport regulations.
• Experience managing compliance and risks with lithium batteries in logistics/warehousing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of fire safety risks related to lithium battery storage is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the organisation's appointed Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA), ensuring full compliance with ADR regulations.
• Provide expert guidance on the classification, packaging, labelling, and transportation of dangerous goods.
• Develop and implement safe systems of work for lithium battery storage, handling, and transport.
• Deliver training programmes to operational teams on dangerous goods safety and emergency procedures.
