Job summary

Rubicon Consulting is seeking 3 System Engineers for a 6-month contract based in Rugby. You will own the DFMEA as SME for propulsion and electrical components, and Power-user Reliasoft to ensure data integrity.

You will lead technical workshops, capture insights, and translate them into structured failure modes and mitigation strategies. You will track KPIs and report progress to leadership and naval customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with DFMEA processes and Reliasoft tools.
• Ability to distill complex inputs into clear data and reports.
• Experience leading technical workshops with engineers.
• Must have UK National status and be able to pass security interview.

Responsibilities

• Own the DFMEA for propulsion and electrical components.
• Lead high-stakes technical workshops with Design Engineers.
• Serve as the primary scribe converting inputs into Reliasoft data.
• Track progress and report KPIs to project leadership and naval customers.
