Job summary

Alpine F1 Team is seeking a Production Engineer to bridge design and manufacture, driving manufacturability and lead-time improvements for composite and metallic components. You will partner with Design, Production and Quality teams to integrate manufacturability into designs and ensure readiness and quality throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on production and assembly experience across composite and metallic components.
• Ability to read, interpret and challenge technical specifications and engineering documentation.
• Sound understanding and practical application of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities across an agreed product portfolio.
• Work with Design Engineers to improve manufacturability, assembly and inspection processes.
• Embed production knowledge into the design process to improve production readiness and specification quality.
• Review and analyse production feedback, including NCRs, concessions, faults and observations, ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future designs.
• Maintain manufacturing specifications and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and effective revision control.
• Support the reduction of manufacturing queries, specification amendments and production lead times.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities across production processes.
