Job summary
Sopra Steria is seeking a hands-on Team Lead to guide DevOps delivery for our Aerospace, Defence and Security account in the UK. You will lead a multi-supplier team, shape technical direction and ensure outcomes align with customer methodologies.
You will balance stakeholder needs, drive improvements, and maintain system stability in a highly secure environment while fostering collaboration across internal teams and partners.
Qualifications
- Experience leading technical teams
- Strong understanding of system and application architectures
- Hands-on DevOps experience
- Experience with on-premise and cloud environments
- Knowledge of containerisation and automation tools
Responsibilities
- Lead DevOps delivery and related project work across the team
- Prioritise work and provide expert technical direction
- Maintain low-level technical understanding and documentation of configurations/interfaces
- Support the Service Delivery Manager for timely, cost-effective delivery
- Manage investigation, triage and resolution of incidents, changes and stories
- Build relationships with customers and partners to influence decisions
