Job summary

NatWest Group is hiring a DevOps Engineer focused on Network Automation in Scotland. You will design, build and operate automation capabilities to speed, secure and stabilize network and infrastructure services within a regulated financial environment.

You will implement code-based CI/CD pipelines, apply infrastructure-as-code and network-as-code practices, and embed security and compliance into every delivery stage.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automation across CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
• Strong scripting skills and ability to develop reusable automation patterns
• Experience with network automation in regulated financial services environments
• Knowledge of security, compliance and risk controls in automation workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain network and infrastructure automation
• Deliver automation via code-based CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/Jenkins/Azure DevOps
• Apply infrastructure-as-code and network-as-code to create repeatable delivery patterns
• Embed security and compliance into pipeline design and operations
• Support automated change, incidents and operational workflows (ServiceNow)
• Work with OpenShift or Kubernetes to deploy automation workloads and services
