Jacobs is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join a growing Digital & Data community. You will design, build and optimize cloud-native platforms, pipelines and observability, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable services.

Qualifikationen

• Eligible for, or currently holding, SC Security Clearance.
• Experience delivering DevOps or Platform Engineering solutions within agile environments.
• Strong AWS experience including cloud-native/serverless architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Expertise building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and modern source control practices.
• Experience deploying and managing containerised applications using Kubernetes, Helm and Docker.
• Strong understanding of logging, monitoring and observability practices.
• Experience designing secure, resilient and highly available cloud environments.
• Working knowledge of networking, infrastructure and cloud security principles.
• Experience supporting application deployments across Linux and cloud-hosted environments.
• Scripting in Bash; Python/TypeScript advantageous.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

• Champion DevOps culture and engineering excellence; promote modern ways of working.
• Implement secure and resilient AWS infrastructure using IaC.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and quality.
• Establish observability with monitoring and alerting for meaningful insights.
• Support cloud adoption, platform modernization and migration of legacy workloads.
• Coach client teams to mature DevOps capabilities and practices.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the Digital & Data community.
