Netcompany is seeking a DevOps-focused professional to join the APS team in the UK, supporting development, DevOps and on-call rotations. You will learn platform specifics and collaborate with Java teams, QA, IT Ops, InfoSec and UCD to deliver reliable services.

The role emphasizes automation, proactive monitoring and continuous improvement, with travel required and the right to work in the UK as implicit prerequisites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a DevOps engineering role.
• Curiosity to explore new technologies.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Java development teams.
• Familiar with multiple databases, architecture and integration.
• Experience with monitoring tools for reliability and performance.
• Understanding of container orchestration with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Proficient in pipelines setup and maintenance (Jenkins).
• Database schema change management (Liquibase).
• Understanding GitOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support improvements, efficiency, and software quality.
• Shared responsibility between development and operations with a customer focus.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team to apply DevOps best practices.
• Be part of an on-call rotation for supported platforms.
