Job summary

Abri Group in Bracknell is seeking a Development Technical Officer to support delivery of our ambitious new homes programme. You will work with the Development team to ensure projects meet legislative requirements, industry best practice and our quality standards.

You'll gain experience across technical support, defect management, site visits and contract documentation, while developing your professional knowledge and pursuing the RICS-accredited qualification pathway with Abri's mentorship.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy administrative, technical or project-based environment.
• Strong MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
• Ability to analyse information and communicate with diverse audiences.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads.
• Willingness to continuously develop professional knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Development, New Business, Sales, Programme Delivery and Customer Care teams.
• Coordinate defect rectification projects and manage contractors.
• Attend site visits to ensure product quality meets guidelines.
• Review technical and contractual documentation to identify risks.
• Assist with post-contract matters and compliance requirements.
• Build positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support frameworks development with Procurement colleagues.
• Attend meetings with contractors and project managers.
• Stay up to date with changes in legislation and building regulations.
