Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with a highways and drainage focus to join our busy Development Infrastructure Team in the UK.

You will lead technical designs, coordinate surveys, liaise with regulators, and support bids across residential and commercial schemes, all within a flexible hybrid working model. This role offers strong career development and access to AECOM University.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree (BEng) and/or Master’s degree (MEng).
• Proficient in InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with developer clients and contractors delivering infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical designs and digital delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare and review survey specifications, including utilities and topographical surveys.
• Check and coordinate studies, assessments, and conceptual designs for development schemes.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure compliance.
• Contribute to bids and proposals and attend project meetings.
