The Role

In this exciting role, you'll work alongside a talented team of chefs to design and develop innovative new products that will leave a lasting impression in the retail sector. Your ability to stay on top of culinary food trends and translate them into commercially viable solutions will be key. You will also be managing key internal relationships across functions to ensure the smooth running of product development activities.

You'll take charge of presenting your creations to both internal teams and external customers, demonstrating your culinary expertise, flair, and passion. The role also involves coordinating the development kitchen, ensuring it operates to the highest standard, and overseeing hospitality for customer visits.

Your creativity will play a vital part in delivering consistently high-quality products, while your communication skills will ensure the smooth flow of information across teams.

The Person

We are looking for a Development Chef with experience in chilled food manufacturing, ideally having worked with major UK retailers on own-label projects. You will have a deep understanding of the fast-paced nature of kitchens and the ability to work under pressure, all while maintaining strong communication with your team and other departments.

You’ll be a highly skilled chef with a passion for innovation, and you'll be adept at translating food trends into market-ready products. You must also possess a full driving license and be willing to travel to customers as required.
