Havebury Housing Partnership in the East of England is seeking a Development Assistant to support the New Homes Delivery team, helping manage on-site programmes and pipeline development to deliver homes for the community.

The role offers flexible home and office working, a generous annual leave allowance, and other benefits, with a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in administration, including Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in a customer-facing role with strong service.
  • Ability to organise workload and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

  • Maintaining electronic files and filing systems, collating key documents and legal files, and ensuring information for key documents is in place.
  • Monitoring valuation expiry dates and rent checks to ensure properties can be let on time.
  • Keeping scheme audit and charging files up to date, assisting with charging processes and queries, including information for internal teams to calculate new development service charges.
  • Coordinating handover and post-handover documentation, sharing accurate information across the business, including compliance checks, void times and progress updates with other teams.
  • Handling general enquiries across all forms of communication relating to development projects and programmes.
  • Updating relevant reports when programme updates or changes come in.
  • Liaising with colleagues, external consultants, local authorities, and other organisations, providing documentation as needed and collating information for the Development team to share with the wider business through reports and presentations.

New homes start with careful planning and coordination behind the scenes. We're looking for a Development Assistant to support our New Homes Delivery team, helping manage our on-site programme and pipeline development, and playing a key part in delivering homes for our community.

We own and manage c.8,000 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

A lot of our roles come with options around home and office flexible working, as well as a generous annual leave allowance and other benefits.

Please note, this role is on a 12 month FTC.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Good attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines
