Job summary

LiveKit is seeking a skilled engineer to help build, ship, and support production software that powers AI-enabled applications. You’ll work across unfamiliar codebases to diagnose issues, write robust code, and contribute to documentation while maintaining a strong focus on the customer experience.

You’ll collaborate with developers and customers, triage bugs, respond to tickets, and help translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Practising engineer with ability to build, ship, and debug production software.
• Comfortable navigating unfamiliar codebases to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
• Clear written and spoken communication adapted for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curious, fast-learning, energetic about ambiguity.
• Customer-focused—solving the ticket and the underlying problem.

Responsibilities

• Support and work directly with developers, teams, and companies building with LiveKit, both commercially and in the community.
• Triage, file, and fix bugs, respond to support tickets, write sample and production-quality code, and update documentation and technical guides.
• Collaborate and support community efforts around technical issues.
• Regularly meet with LiveKit customers to ensure continued success on the platform.
• Partner with Sales, BD, and Partnerships teams on strategy and support in customer conversations.
