Job summary

Darktrace, a global leader in AI-driven cybersecurity, seeks a Detection Engineer to advance threat detection models and respond to incidents. You will work in a small, global team, building and refining model decks while handling customer requests and threat intel reviews.

The role combines independent ownership with collaboration across Darktrace's Development, Analyst, and customer-facing groups. You will contribute to tooling and process improvements, drawing on hands-on use of the Darktrace

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using the Darktrace product suite to carry out investigations and analyze model alerts.
• Experience with the Platform model editor, assisting customers in creating or tuning models.
• Ability to work independently and drive improvements to the model deck.

Responsibilities

• Build out new model decks covering areas like Endpoint and Kubernetes.
• Address customer queries and respond to cyber incidents with urgency.
• Analyze cybersecurity incidents to identify improvements for the model deck.
• Self-drive development of new models and enhancements to existing ones.
• Collaborate with Development, Analyst and customer-facing teams; develop internal tooling.
