Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Despatch Planner in Salisbury to ensure customer orders move smoothly from schedule to delivery. The role focuses on reliable planning, hands-on logistics, and strong attention to detail within a supportive team.

You will handle customer schedules, generate works orders, and liaise across channels to confirm order status. Forklift training may be provided and is an advantage for loading/unloading duties.

Qualifications

• Experience within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with MRP or EDI systems is an advantage.
• Proactive scheduling and customer order management experience.
• Forklift licence is an advantage, training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and maintain customer schedules and orders.
• Plan and generate works orders in line with customer requirements.
• Liaise with customers by email, phone and online portals on order status.
• Prepare and pack customer shipments in line with specific packaging requirements.
• Load and unload vehicles, using forklift training where required.
• Maintain accurate records and support the wider logistics and purchasing team.
