Job summary

Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby's) in Hull is seeking Despatch Operatives to help meet daily schedules while following Health and Safety regulations, food safety legislation and quality standards.

You will work day shifts 06:00–18:00 (£13.49/h) or night shifts 18:00–06:00 (£14.99/h), complete picking sheets, rotate stock, dispatch orders in the correct sequence, load/unload vehicles and support audits.

Qualifications

• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily picking sheet as distributed by the Despatch Area Lead.
• Undertake stock rotation; dispatch finished stock in correct picking order.
• Load and unload products on to and from vehicles as instructed.
• Assist during internal / external audits as required.
• Communicate stock shortages after completing customer orders.
• Achieve daily departmental targets as directed by line manager.

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Despatch team as a Despatch Operative, to assist in meeting the requirements of the daily schedule whilst working in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, food safety legislation and quality standards specified by our customers. Hours - 06:00-18:00 days or 18:00-06:00 nights Pay - £13.49 per hour for days and £14.99 per hour for nights The main duties of the role include:

• To complete the requirements of the daily picking sheet distributed by the Despatch Area Lead
• Undertake stock rotation; dispatching finished stock in the correct picking order
• Load and unload products on to and from vehicles as instructed
• To assist during internal / external audits as required
• To communicate any stock shortages to the Despatch Area Lead after completing the orders of each customer
• Ensure the achievement of daily departmental targets as determined by your line manager in a time effective manner
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail
• Be organised and efficient
