Job summary

A leading UK food producer is seeking Despatch Operatives to manage day-to-day operations in the despatch department. Candidates will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, picking orders, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The ideal applicant should have experience in despatch or the food industry and a strong numeracy level. Cranswick Riverside has had over 8-million pound investment in the last 2 years. The site is one of the country's leader producers of Pork products for some of the major supermarkets in the UK. CCF Riverside is close to the City Centre and offers great transport links.

We are on the look out for Despatch Operatives - you would be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day to day operations within despatch department, taking direction from the management team.

Main Duties Include (but not limited to):

• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Picking orders on our in house systems
• Ensuring products are stored correctly while maintaining traceability at all times
• Maintaining food safety standards at all times
• Demonstrate a good attention to detail with orders

What We Look For:

• Previous experience in despatch / warehousing / food industry
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments to daily targets
• Strong level of numeracy
• A motivated and friendly attitude towards teamwork and assisting colleagues
