Job summary

Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk is seeking a Despatch Operative to join the existing despatch team. You will pick, pack and palletise orders, ensuring quality and accuracy in a busy warehouse environment.

Shifts include days 06:40–18:40 on a 2-2-3 pattern and nights 18:40–06:40 on a 4-on/4-off cycle. Full-time position with on-site working, pension and wellbeing benefits.

• Good organisation and numeracy skills are required.
• Ability to use an electric scanner and basic IT tasks.
• Hardworking, reliable and a team player.

Job requirements of Despatch Operative:

We are looking for a Despatch Operative to join our established Despatch team at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for picking, packing and palletising orders, whilst ensuring quality and accuracy.

Shift Pattern:

• 1) Despatch Days - 06:40 – 18:40 on a 2-2-3 shift pattern, covering Monday – Sunday
• 2) Despatch Nights- 18:40 – 06:40 on a 4on4off shift pattern

Duties:

• Picking and Packing Products
• Scanning pallets in and out
• Ensuring each item conforms with product and quality standards.
• Loading and unloading of lorries as required.
• Performing other warehouse duties as required.

What you will need:

• Good Organisation and Numeracy Skills
• IT competent to be able to use an electric scanner.
• To be hardworking and a team player.
• Previous experience is preferred, however not essential

Pay and benefits:

• 1)Rate of Pay - £14.90 per hour (inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus)
• 2)Rate of Pay - £15.67 per hour (inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus)
