Job summary

Banham Poultry (2018) Limited is seeking an experienced Despatch Manager to lead our busy warehouse and despatch operation, ensuring orders are picked, loaded, and dispatched safely, efficiently, and accurately.

You will collaborate with Production, Planning, Transport and other departments to meet customer deadlines while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and Health & Safety. A proactive, hands-on leader will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a warehouse, despatch or logistics operation.
• Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or another fast-paced operational environment.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Experience managing KPIs and driving operational improvements.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and customer service.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Despatch Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the Despatch department, ensuring products are picked, loaded, and dispatched safely, efficiently, and accurately.

Working closely with Production, Planning, Transport, and other departments, you'll make sure customer orders leave site on time while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and health & safety.
