Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a proactive Despatch Supervisor to join our team in Middlesbrough. You will oversee the receipt, storage and distribution of stock, manage despatch operations and maintain accurate stock records across our site and external warehouses.

Leading Stock Controllers and Pickers, you’ll drive performance while ensuring health and safety, accuracy of stock data, and timely despatches during a 4 on/4 off pattern (7pm-7am and 7am-7pm). Salary £31,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• The ability to supervise and control a team of order pickers and stock controllers.
• Good man management, communication and computer skills are essential.
• A proactive, can-do attitude and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt of finished product and coordinate stock checks.
• Manage despatch operations to meet haulage and delivery requirements.
• Monitor stock levels, rotation and accuracy across sites and warehouses.
• Lead and develop Stock Controllers and Pickers for performance.
• Ensure health and safety and maintain accurate records for stock and despatch.
