Job summary

Exponential-e, a leading British-owned tech company, is seeking an IT Service Desk/Desktop Support Technician based in Southampton. You will respond to support contacts and tickets within SLAs, configure and maintain desktops, test network connections, and follow escalation processes to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience managing/troubleshooting Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server & Desktop, SQL Server technologies.
• Experience using ITIL-based ticketing systems (ITIL Foundation preferred).

Responsibilities

• Respond to support contacts and tickets as assigned within SLAs.
• Maintain understanding of the internal escalation process.
• Be a highly motivated team player with the ability to manage changing priorities.
• Setup/Configure/Maintain/Administer desktop computers and peripherals and test network connections.
• Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers.
• Access Management and Maintenance through Active Directory and Office365 (Account Provision, Account Revocation, Password resets).
• Escalate issues and involve Service Desk to resolve issues quickly.
