A leading Lloyd's Syndicate Insurer, located in the City of London, is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join their dynamic IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to thrive in a fast-paced, prestigious environment. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive desktop support while ensuring seamless operations across corporate meetings, live events, and daily activities.

The Role:

• Provide desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues within a Windows environment.
• Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory.
• Support Teams meeting room devices and ensure smooth operation during video conferences, meetings, and presentations.
• Install and configure AV equipment, including sound systems, video conferencing tools, screens, lighting systems, and microphones.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• ITIL certification is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and expertise in supporting and troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Citrix and Active Directory.
• Good knowledge of AV equipment and video conferencing tools is a plus.
