Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is recruiting for a Desk Side Analyst to provide on-site IT support across London and Home Counties. The role requires hands-on, face-to-face IT assistance for internal customers, including VIP support, with a strong focus on Windows and M365, printers, and mobile devices.

• Experience running IT clinics, tech bars or drop-in IT support for internal customers.
• Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 (M365).
• Familiarity with network fundamentals, printers and cloud printing solutions.
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and video conferencing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support and assistance to customers at the group offices and sites.
• Collaborate with Service Desk and IT teams to deliver location-based support.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and maintain end-user devices.
• Travel across the region as required and work in a hybrid Islington-based role.

Location: London, Corsica Street, Islington – with travel

Salary: £30,264 to £41,613 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week

You must have experience of running IT clinics / tech bars / drop in sessions or offering a significant amount of face to face hands on IT support to different internal customers including regular VIP support.

With a working knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows operating systems, M365, network fundamentals, printers & cloud printing solutions, tablet & mobile support (Android and iOs), you’ll play a vital role in the team, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and maintaining end user devices.

The role will be based from our office in Islington with regular travel to sites throughout London and the Home Counties. You’ll provide on-site technical support and assistance to customers at the group’s offices, sheltered housing schemes (known as LiveSmart) and other locations within the region where Clarion provides corporate IT services. You’ll be working closely with the Service Desk and other IT teams to deliver high quality location-based support.

With a good working knowledge of core IT service management processes and practices and a proven ability and drive to learn and develop new skills and Mobile Device Management system experience and Video Conference system support experience, you’ll need to be proficient in providing end-user support for network-related queries and hardware setup.
