Designate Senior Sous Chef | Birmingham West | Full Time

The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team, driving restaurant performance, and delivering exceptional results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
  • Manage kitchen standards, financial performance, including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working with your head chef on recruitment and development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions when needed.

What We Look For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
