Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher for a full-time, long-term temporary post in Stockton starting September 2026. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons to develop creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, with experience in secondary D&T. Specialisms in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, or Construction are welcomed, and a passion for helping students reach

Qualifications

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Design & Technology within a secondary school setting.
  • Specialisms in areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, or Construction are welcomed.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Has a genuine passion for teaching and supporting young people to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Milk Education is working in partnership with a secondary school in Stockton to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term temporary basis starting in September 2026.
