Qualifications

• QTS or recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching in a secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management.
• Good safeguarding understanding.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual student needs.
• Genuine commitment to supporting students' academic and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach specialist subject in line with the curriculum.
• Differentiate lessons for a range of abilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, provide effective feedback.
• Prepare students for GCSEs and other examinations.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Support students with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Contribute to the wider school community.
