Empowering Learning Ltd in Rochdale is seeking an enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to deliver Design Technology/Art across KS3-KS4 at a secondary school. The role is full-time, starts immediately, and runs until Christmas with potential extension.

Daily pay in the £160-£200 range reflects experience. You will plan engaging practical lessons, foster positive student behaviour, and work with colleagues to monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Two professional references.
• Secondary teaching experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• QTS is desirable.

Design Technology Teacher

Location: Rochdale

Start Date: Immediate. Full time Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm.

Duration: Until Christmas, with potential to extend

Pay: £160-£200 per day, depending on experience

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Design Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in Rochdale on a full-time basis, starting immediately and continuing until Christmas, with the potential for the role to be extended.

The Role

• Teaching Design Technology/Art across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons
• Supporting students to develop their technical and creative skills
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and learning
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and confidently
• Working collaboratively with the wider department and school staff
• Assessing and monitoring student progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience teaching Design Technology or Art at KS3-KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confident delivering practical and engaging lessons
• Reliable, organised and professional
• Able to build positive relationships with students
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable
