Flourish Education in Birmingham is seeking a passionate DT & Food Technology Teacher to inspire pupils across KS3 and KS4 in Selly Oak. The role can be long-term or day-to-day, with planning and marking responsibilities expected for extended placements.

The successful candidate will teach across KS3/KS4, with practical, differentiated lessons and clear assessment. You will join a supportive team and contribute to an engaging learning environment.

Qualificações

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Specialism in Design Technology or Food Technology or a related subject.
• Experience teaching DT and/or Food Technology at secondary level.
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging, practical and differentiated lessons.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• References covering all employment within the last 24 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a DT & Food Technology Teacher to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them develop their practical knowledge and understanding of Design Technology and Food Preparation and Nutrition. This DT & Food Technology Teacher role is available on a long-term or day-to-day (D2D) basis, offering flexibility depending on your availability and preferences. The successful candidate will be teaching across KS3 and KS4, with planning and marking responsibilities required for long-term positions.

As a DT & Food Technology Teacher, you will be expected to:
