Job summary

Qualifications

Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.
Up-to-date health and safety knowledge for design workshops.
Eligibility to work full-time in the UK.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver Design Technology lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Teach both practical workshop skills and theoretical design concepts.
Maintain health and safety across workshops and learning areas.
Assess and report on student development and attainment.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Prepare students for internal assessments and external exams.
Manage classroom behavior to keep sessions safe and productive.
Maintain tools and equipment and coordinate with technical staff.
Participate in departmental meetings and school events.
Model a passion for design, engineering, and problem-solving.
