The Opportunity:
Laing O'Rourke is currently recruiting for a mechanically biased Design Manager for an aviation / airport project in Greater London. A Laing O'Rourke Design Manager ensures that all design information is reviewed and delivered in line with the design management procedures for completeness and compliance with contractual obligations, including factors such as programme, buildability, safety, maintenance, and technical suitability. The Design Manager oversees the production, control, and distribution of design information at different project stages and ensures regular progress reporting of the design.
The Laing O'Rourke Design Manager is a senior member of the Design Job Family and Technical Function, ensuring technical excellence, assurance, and performance across all projects. Our designers are part of our Engineering Enterprise, aiming to maximize and realize the potential of design to increase certainty on our projects.
