Description and Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager - MEP to join our Building Services Team located in London. Reporting to the Operations Manager or Project Director, you will effectively and professionally lead the day-to-day operational management on large-scale multi-disciplinary commercial projects. Your responsibilities include design, procurement, installation, logistics, compliance, commissioning, and project handover, within the Skanska JV building construction team. You will ensure delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with Skanska values, during all project phases to the satisfaction of the client.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance of design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
  • Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods, and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve buildability, and reduce whole life costs.
  • Develop and administer controls on the project or workplace and ensure full implementation and compliance.
  • Lead lessons learned sessions and collate insights for future projects.
  • Understand, develop, scrutinize, deliver, and monitor the end-to-end programme. Set milestones and key deliverables. Lead the implementation of the overall project plan. Responsible for creating contingency plans (Plan B).
  • Maintain active control of commercial and contractual aspects applicable to the project. Input and scrutinize financial forecasting and CVR. Create and manage profit improvement plans for the project.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing project teams on large commercial schemes in London and surrounding areas, with a package responsibility value of circa £25M.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing multiple disciplines/interfaces and work sequencing.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale MEP contracts on time and within budget.
  • Formal H&S training accreditation, minimum SMSTS.
