Job summary

Bovis is recruiting a Design Manager for a major public sector project in Gloucester. You will deliver design management from pre-bid to handover, coordinating with senior team members and consultants to ensure compliant, quality design across stages.

You will lead design reviews, manage interfaces with planning/Building Control, and bid for new work while maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners. Gloucester-based, on-site role with UK security vetting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Experience delivering design management on complex projects.
• Strong communication with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Design Management on projects from pre-bid to handover.
• Lead and coordinate design management with the senior project team.
• Manage consultant design and interface with planning, building control and other authorities.
• Report milestones to the Head/Lead Design Manager and senior team.
• Bid for new work and secure relationships with clients and partners.
