Job summary

Talk Recruitment is seeking an Architectural Technician, Architect or Design Engineer to move into a Design Coordinator/Manager role for a reputable main contractor. The role offers training and growth across diverse projects, including multi-million-pound schemes.

You will lead design coordination, chair meetings with consultants, manage specifications and drawings, and coordinate M&E and planning submissions. Excellent career progression is on offer within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Building Sector.
• Previous employment as a Design Co-ordinator, D&B Coordinator, D&B Manager, Design Manager, Site Engineer, Project management or Design Engineering roles considered.
• High level of communication skills.
• Degree / HND / HNC or civil engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead design coordination across multiple projects as Design Manager/Coordinator.
• Chair design team meetings with consultants and subcontract designers; issue and track actions.
• Manage contract specifications, drawings and related documents for construction.
• Coordinate with M&E teams to ensure coordination and commissioning.
• Lead design reviews and manage change proposals with client sign-off.
