Talk Recruitment is representing a reputable building main contractor seeking a Design Coordinator / Design Manager to oversee design coordination on multiple projects. The role covers chairing design meetings, coordinating consultants and design deliverables, and ensuring technical and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

The position combines office and site visits with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have design coordination experience with D&B background or design management exposure.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
• Industry knowledge of the building sector and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design coordination across consultants and sub‑contract designers.
• Chair design team meetings, issue minutes, track actions.
• Review drawings, specs and procurement information.
• Ensure contractual and technical compliance and programme adherence.
• Coordinate M&E interfaces and planning conditions.
• Manage design changes and client sign-off processes.
• Support project teams with design delivery and value engineering.
