Job summary

Falcon Green is seeking a seasoned design/engineering professional in Henley-on-Thames to lead innovative design solutions for client briefs and manage the professional team and subcontractors effectively.

You will develop client relationships from concept through delivery, review tender documentation for risk and gaps, coordinate across the project team, and uphold the company’s professional image in all client meetings.

Qualifications

• Design/engineering/construction degree or diploma.
• Minimum 5 years residential/mixed development construction experience, preferably with a Main Contractor.
• Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and project planning tools.
• Strong understanding of construction industry regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyse and interpret contractual documents.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
• Strong self-confidence, good judgement and sound decision-making.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design solutions to client briefs while coordinating the professional team and subcontractors.
• Thoroughly appraise tender documentation to identify risk and information gaps.
• Develop client relationships from concept onwards and manage expectations through regular updates.
• Manage the project team relationship among client, subcontractors and professionals and resolve queries.
• Review design ongoingly to identify interface problems and resolve with the design team and subcontractors.
• Represent the company on design and build matters and maintain the corporate image in meetings with clients.
