Job summary

Falcon Green is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design management and coordination of a major residential project valued at over £100m. The role combines 50% site-based work with time in Head Office, requiring oversight of the contractor design team and all subcontractors with design responsibilities.

You will ensure adherence to current building regulations, Building Safety Act requirements, and timely delivery from Stage 3 within 12-14 months, coordinating with client teams

Qualifications

• Experience leading design management on large-scale residential schemes.
• Understanding of Building Regulations and Building Safety Act requirements.
• Ability to chair meetings and produce clear minutes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design team and subcontractors.
• Ensure design deliverables and timelines are met across CDM and Building Control.
• Chair design review meetings and communicate with client teams.
• Manage site-based design activities and head office coordination to avoid delays.
