Granite Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead Civil and Mechanical engineering teams on water and wastewater projects. You will drive technical delivery, oversee multi‑discipline design activities, and ensure rigorous coordination across interfaces.

The contract runs 6-8 months with a hybrid working pattern—typically two days per week in the office—with potential flexibility based on location and experience.

Design Manager | Water & Wastewater | Contract Opportunity

Granite is currently looking to speak with experienced Design Managers with a strong background in leading Civil and Mechanical Engineering teams within the Water sector.

Key Requirements:

• 4-5+ years experience within the Water Industry
• Strong experience delivering Wastewater / Sewage Treatment projects
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary Civil & Mechanical design teams
• Practical site experience is highly desirable, particularly individuals who can combine design expertise with real-world engineering knowledge

Contract Details: Initial 6-8 month contract

Working Arrangement: Option for a flexible, hybrid set up, typically 2 days per week in the office. However, depending on location and experience there is further flexibility available.
