PSR Solutions is recruiting a Design Manager for a Tier 1 main contractor project based in South Wales with travel across the South West and South Wales. You will lead the design coordination, manage consultants, and ensure design solutions are practical, compliant, and deliverable on site.

Qualifications

• Background in design management within the construction industry, ideally on complex projects.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 main contractor, seeking an ambitious, experienced, and strategically minded Design Manager to join their team. The position is based in South Wales and requires travel to sites and projects across the South West region or South Wales.

This is a varied role working alongside project, commercial, and construction teams, responsible for ensuring design information is coordinated effectively and supports the successful delivery of projects from early stages through to completion.

The role requires overseeing the design function on allocated projects, working closely with consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure design solutions are practical, compliant, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee design coordination from early project stages through to completion.

• Experience within a main contractor or Tier 1 environment would be advantageous.
