Job summary

BT Group in London is seeking a Design Lead to head the in-house creative agency team, guiding graphic and digital designers to deliver exceptional visual work that maintains brand consistency across all touchpoints.

You will partner with a Copywriter, set design standards, oversee multi-channel campaigns, and lead a team with strong craft in print, digital, motion, and environments. The role offers hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence across multiple channels and formats.
• Experience in managing or leading design teams.
• Experience working on integrated campaigns from concept through to execution.
• Background working on major consumer brands, ideally in telecommunications or technology.
• Proven track record of maintaining brand consistency across diverse applications.
• Experience managing design production and working with suppliers.
• Demonstrable experience mentoring or developing junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Provide creative direction and partnership with Copywriter to develop integrated campaigns.
• Lead design execution of campaigns and brand work across channels.
• Set design standards and quality benchmarks for all visual work.
• Collaborate with the Principal Creative at ideation stage.
• Oversee design production across digital, print, social, outdoor, retail.
• Balance creative ambition with budget and timeline constraints.
• Develop design templates, toolkits, and systems for efficiency.
• Maintain asset management and version control.
