Job summary

The Studio in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a senior designer to lead creative direction while staying hands-on across branding, campaigns, websites, and packaging. You will mentor a small design team and work closely with clients to realize high-quality concepts and deliverables.

Applicants should have 6+ years in design, strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, and a track record of owning projects from concept through delivery with exceptional craft and presentation abilities.

Qualifications

• Senior designer with at least 6+ years experience in design, branding or creative marketing agencies.
• Proven experience owning projects from concept to delivery.
• High degree of expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Exceptional design craft with strong sense of colour, typography and layout.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Experience creating original, engaging concepts for brands and marketing.
• Experience liaising with clients, pitching and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative direction for projects in collaboration with the head of design and creative director.
• Mentor and inspire the design team while remaining hands-on in daily design tasks.
• Liaise closely with clients to ensure alignment and successful delivery across brand, print and digital work.
• Drive high standards of craft and concept development across campaigns and packaging.

The Role

Working closely with the head of design and creative director you will take a leadership role setting the creative direction for projects, liaising closely with clients and mentoring and inspiring the design team. The role will remain fully hands on in terms of day- to- day design as it’s a small team and we are looking for someone with a high degree of expertise with creative software and who offers a high level of design craft. Projects are varied across brand and marketing from campaigns, brand and print through to websites and packaging.
