Job summary

Hunter Dunning Ltd is working with an established architectural practice in Gloucester on a Design Lead role within their education team. This position focuses on leading schools, colleges and higher education projects across RIBA Stages 1 to 3, with emphasis on concept design, spatial strategy and client engagement.

The ideal candidate is ARB registered Architect and has a strong education portfolio, with proven leadership and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• ARB registered Architect or equivalent qualification.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating education sector projects.
• Experience across schools, colleges or higher education.
• Proven experience leading RIBA Stages 1 to 3.
• Knowledge of Department for Education guidance and standards.
• Strong presentation, communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead education sector projects across RIBA Stages 1 to 3.
• Engage with clients and coordinate design teams.
• Develop concept design and spatial strategy.
