You’ll lead detailed Creo 9.0 CAD work, manage BoMs and CAD data in Windchill, and ensure traceability from concept to manufacture.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Design Engineer in defence, automotive or aerospace industries.
• Expert-level Creo 9.0 or higher 3D CAD skills (essential)
• Experience using Windchill PLM (or similar) for CAD and BOM management
• Knowledge of fabrication, machining and composite manufacturing methods
• Proactive, self-sufficient approach with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed 3D CAD design work using Creo 9.0 or higher, producing models, assemblies and engineering drawings to the highest standards.
• Manage your BoMs and CAD data in PLM (Windchill preferred), ensuring full traceability and accuracy.
• Support vehicle integration projects from concept design through to release for manufacture - balancing weight, cost, strength and assembly feasibility throughout.
• Your designs will directly support the build and delivery of vehicles to defence customers - requiring precision, agility and a commitment to excellence.
