Job summary

NP Aerospace seeks a Lead Engineer to take technical ownership of vehicle system projects, ensuring designs meet customer specs and high safety standards. You will guide solutions from concept to validation, balancing performance, manufacturability, reliability, and supportability.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in defence, aerospace or automotive engineering.
• Strong understanding of electro-mechanical and/or mechanical system architecture.
• Experience with configuration management, change control, and systems engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Take overall technical ownership of assigned vehicle system projects.
• Collaborate with Chief Engineer, Project Managers, Design Office and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and support prototypes.
• Engage with customers supporting technical reviews, prototype evaluations, and bid activity; produce high-quality documentation and data packs.
