University of the Arts London is seeking a Design Assistant to join our in-house team in London. You will engage across the full product lifecycle, supporting the design and development team through admin tasks, board maintenance, research archiving, and sample tracking.

This role emphasizes sustainability and hands-on learning within a growing lingerie-focused brand. You will assist with technical packs, fittings, and supplier communications, while collaborating with creative and marketing

Competenze

• Experience in design/development roles through work, internships, placements or projects.
• Interest in building a market-defining brand and product.
• Passion for sustainability in fashion.
• Solid knowledge of Illustrator and common design tools.
• Basic understanding of fabrics, trims, and construction techniques.

Mansioni

• Assist the design team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Keep design boards up to date and organized.
• Archive design research and manage sample tracking.
• Prepare technical packs and documentation for launches.
• Support with fittings, lab dips and trim sourcing.
• Maintain studio organization and couriers.
