Job summary

Schroders in London seeks a Derivative Services Confirmations Manager to lead the ETD, OTC Clearing and Confirmations teams, ensuring timely processing and robust controls across all derivative products. You will manage staff development, conduct performance reviews, oversee partner workstreams, and deliver accurate MI while driving continuous process improvements and risk-aware practices.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of OTC derivative products including swaps, options, forwards and Repo.
• Experience in derivative trade support and trade processing functions.
• Knowledge of end-to-end derivative trade lifecycle and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead ETD, OTC Clearing and Confirmations with accountability for performance and service levels.
• Manage staff development, 1:1s, appraisals and policy enforcement.
• Oversee daily operations by external partners with quality checks and timely confirmations.
• Quality check ETD and OTC processes, margin payments, and correct fee application.
• Provide actionable MIS and stakeholder updates; drive issue resolution and improvements.
• Support risk management, incident handling and continuous process automation.
